Toronto FC extends unbeaten streak at home.

I have to confess, when I came into work and saw I was assigned to the Toronto FC game and not the Toronto Blue Jay game I was thankful. A year ago I wouldn't have cared.
Toronto FC now plays on real grass.
I know that athletes perfer to play on the real stuff rather than the synthetic stuff and for totally different reasons photographers would rather shoot the games on the real stuff.
Real grass absorbs the midday sun, the fake stuff seems to reflect it. Shooting a Blue Jays game in the high afternoon sun means that pretty much anything that happens in the outfield will look out of focus. There are ways to get around it, shoot from a higher vantage point helps.
Stefan Frei makes a big save as Nana Attakora looks on in the injury time. This an image that I never would have gotten last year at BMO Field, the save is shot across the field and the keeper is close to the ground, on the old BMO turf this would have been a nighmare.
Great Sportsmanship, Marvell Wynne helps out former teammate and game winning goal scorer Fuad Ibrahim with a cramp after Toronto FC extends their unbeaten streak at home this season with a 1-0 win over the Colorado Rapids.
