Snowbirds Air Demonstration Squadron in flight

Toronto Star photojournalist Lucas Oleniuk was invited aboard the number 7 Snowbird plane piloted by Marco Rusconi Friday Septemeber 3, 2010 for the Snowbird media flight. Canada's Snowbirds are offically designated "431 Air Demonstration Squadron" of the Canadian Forces. The team toured Ontario's cottage country through sun and rain before returning to Pearson Airport for debriefing. The Snowbirds will be performing in Toronto at the Canadian International Air Show this weekend. All photos by Lucas Oleniuk/Toronto Star
