NBA basketball is Back!

Steve Russell - Staff Photographer

The NBA is back and I am glad.

The players were rusty and so was I. Maybe a little more rusty than the players because the game was still quick.

The other challenge is that there are so many new faces, players and coaches!

Of the major sports basketball is my favourite to cover.

As photographers we are close to the action and the players don't wear any helmets or masks.

Good Morning

Did not see the game but am glad they are back at it. Hopefully the coach can keep the team focused on the journey and not the results. Saw some rather sad faces at the end of the game and hopefully it was just in the moment. Going to a rather long , shortened season but BC and company has set the expectations pretty low.

By the way rather enjoy the pictures !!

Great pics - they give a good feel of the game. The feelings they evoke remind me why I love basketball.
Favourite ones however are the first 2, and the last one. Very nice!
