Toronto FC's season in the bag, even though there are a couple games left.

I haven't seen fans wearing paper bags on their heads since, well, since the Leafs last spring.

I can almost see MLSE starting manufacture bags to sell the fans for their teams to make up for all that lost play-off revenue.

Upset TFC fans wear bags on their heads as Toronto FC play D.C. United at BMO Field.

When you upset the TFC fans, who are very creative with signage you hear about it.

Fans are so upset that they did not remove their bags for the anthems.

I checked, thankfully relegation is not an option.

Unfortunately for MLSE, when the city enacts the January 1st plastic bag ban, there may be a lot more paper bags out there!

Toronto FC goalkeeper Milos Kocic watches a ball sail over the net in the first half.

D.C. United midfielder Marcelo Saragosa battles Quincy Amarikwa.

D.C. United goalkeeper Bill Hamid stops Toronto FC midfielder Luis Silva in close.

Toronto FC defender Logan Emory heads the ball back to his goalkeeper.

Toronto FC defender Aaron Maund is pulled by D.C. United midfielder Marcelo Saragosa.

Darren O'Dea stops D.C. United midfielder Andy Najar.

D.C. United midfielder Nick DeLeon straight arms Luis Silva.

Toronto FC goalkeeper Milos Kocic knocks the ball away from D.C. United's Chris Pontius.

Toronto FC forward Andrew Wiedeman  is mugged by D.C. United defender Perry Kitchen.

It might have been the weather, but there were a lot of empty seats at the game.

D.C. United forward Hamdi Salihi taps the ball past Toronto FC goalkeeper Milos Kocic.

D.C. United celebrates their late goal in front of a irate TFC fan.

Toronto FC midfielder Reggie Lambe  takes a corner kick in front of protesting supporters.

From deep inside the MLSE box, Tom Anselmi the president and Chief Operating Officer of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment watches as Toronto FC lose D.C. United 1-0
