The government should use all its resources to stop this war internally. Even as young as 10 years old already used by the cartel to kill people from rival group. I just wish that Mexico will be known for it wonderful place and tourism not with drugs and violence.
me.yahoo.com/a/q77DygM3hMP_d6fS_nHJmuEw.nd2pUqeZ53L commented on 'A drug war has turned Ciudad Juárez into a bloodbath.'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341bf8f353ef013481872ec5970c2010-05-24T19:00:43Z2015-02-09T20:58:30Zme.yahoo.com/a/q77DygM3hMP_d6fS_nHJmuEw.nd2pUqeZ53Lhttp://profile.typepad.com/6p0133ee56d1b3970bI am an white male American that has lived in juarez from 2001-2006 on and off and actually to me...
I am an white male American that has lived in juarez from 2001-2006 on and off and actually to me it was a law abiding town for the most part. I just can't believe how things have gone on in the last three years. I have some very close friends there and pray for them all the time. I just hope things soon get back to a better state like they were before because I was a nice warm and sunny place to visit. God Bless Ciudad Juarez!
Arturo commented on 'A drug war has turned Ciudad Juárez into a bloodbath.'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341bf8f353ef0134817b85ed970c2010-05-23T13:59:09Z2010-05-23T13:59:09ZArturoIt is unfortunate that the violence in Ciudad Juarez is painting Mexico to be a horrible place. As the previous writer indicated , it is the drug wars that fuel this violence. If the US and Canada were not consuming so much illegal drugs, would there be a problem of this magnitude?
I am a retired Canadian, and have lived in the Puerto Vallarta area for almost seven years.I have never had a problem here.Other Canadians who choose to be involved in the world of drugs have ended up in prison or dead.

We all make decisions that affect our lives in one way or another. I do not travel at night, stay out late in bars, and I drink very little.I have a happy carefree life here and I do travel all the time, but not at night.
This is a wonderful country, warm and gracious people, and many Canadians choose to spend their winters here.We can only hope that things will get better.
Richard Koenig commented on 'A drug war has turned Ciudad Juárez into a bloodbath.'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341bf8f353ef0133ee49bf91970b2010-05-23T00:47:06Z2010-05-23T00:47:06ZRichard KoenigSolution: do not use drugs..as simple as that. Used to go across the border frequently, and now I am a bit leery as killings are everywhere. About a year ago the chief of police was killed in Peidras Negras (across fromEagle Pass) and I never go to Laredo/Neuvo Laredo anymore..it is getting as bad as El Paso/Juarez. You just have to be very careful...and think about travel. It is not just the US thirst for drugs but the world thirst for drugs that drive the cartels.
Gary commented on 'A drug war has turned Ciudad Juárez into a bloodbath.'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341bf8f353ef01348177781f970c2010-05-22T13:11:56Z2010-05-22T13:11:56ZGaryPlease bear in mind that Ciudad Juarez is at the north of Mexico and borders the US whose thirst for...
Please bear in mind that Ciudad Juarez is at the north of Mexico and borders the US whose thirst for drugs has led to this problem. As a Canadian living in Mexico City for the last 7 yrs, I haven't seen any violence on the streets and actually feel quite safe considering that the city has 27 million habitants compared to Toronto or any other major city in Canada. VIVA MEXICO!!!!!
