The Daily Beast - Ciuchcia's on Board - August 30, 2011
Toronto Star Picture Editor Wanda Goodwin shares these images of a remarkably playful dog with an indelible spirit named Ciuchcia (Polish for steam engine). Ciuchcia, a four month old dog whose rear legs were paralyzed after it was physically abused and abandoned with its two siblings on a train track. The dog survived despite being run over by a number of trains, according to the staff at the animal shelter, who found Ciuchcia on July 7, 2011.

I would like to know more about this dog. I have just seen this article for the first time. I had a 16 year old German Shepherd who just passed away and was in a wheelchair just like Ciuchcia. Ciuchcia could have been my dog Nike's puppy, they look EXACTLY alike. I am interested in how she is and would like to know if she has a home.
If not, I am interested in geting her back to the states and adopting her. I am in love with her already.
