Welcome to this week's podcast from the Star editorial board. The board is responsible for the editorials that appear every day in the Star, and every day we have a lively discussion on what to write about, and what to say. The podcast will give us a chance to share some of those debates with Star readers.

Today we’re talking about two issues – the first Toronto city budget under Mayor Rob Ford, and what promises to be a controversial new border deal between Canada and the United States. Editorial page editor Andrew Phillips is joined by editorial board members Gordon Barthos and Leslie Papp.
