U.S. ambassador spills the beans

The U.S. Ambassador to Canada, David Wilkins, has given an interview to CBC Radio, saying that there was "political interference" from Canada in the presidential race.

Harper has just said in the House that he "won't comment on rumours" and is apparently leaving it up to the bureaucracy to investigate.

You're right, he did. It took the CBC interviewer quite a while to draw that out but he did finally concede it. He also said, and I'm paraphrasing, that presidents can't afford to hold grudges and that everyone should move on - although I guess that isn't worth reporting.
