Hi, Mr. Mulroney, it's Jean-Pierre from Revenue Canada calling, wondering when you're going to pay taxes on that cash in the envelope
Minister Jean-Pierre Blackburn makes changes to the Agency’s call centres
Montréal, Quebec, May 19, 2009… The Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of National Revenue and Minister of State (Agriculture and Agri-Food), today announced changes to the way agents respond to enquiries received on the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) tax and benefit enquiries lines. The new policy will allow taxpayers who call for information to find out the identity of the call agent on the phone. The policy will help reinforce the agents’ accountability while also ensuring greater consistency in the way they greet callers.
“The Government is committed to streamlining services and making the tax system more accessible and flexible to respond to the needs of Canadians,” stated Minister Blackburn. “Now, anyone calling a call centre will be greeted by an agent who provides his or her name, which means better service for taxpayers.”

Hi Jean-Pierre... How are things working out now that you're at CRA? Got your message; sorry I wasn't around to take the call, but things ran a little overtime today -- coincidentally on account of the very subject you raised. I certainly appreciated hearing the news that the agency is moving to make its call centre reprsentatives more accountable. And let me tell you, accountability is something I prize very highly, as you very well know. As to your question, with the greatest of respect I refer you to this famous internet story: http://www.pinetree.net/humor/thermodynamics.html
I believe that within it, you will find the answer appropriate to your question. Hope this helps. Signed (with bells on), I, Martin Brian Mulroney, 18th Prime Minister of Canada (at least, that's the number my financial advisors gave me and I certainly take them at their word. They haven't led me astray yet. OK, well maybe just that one time.)
