Ignatieff sighting

Despite rumours of his disappearance, the Liberal leader is doing an event today in Gatineau, just across the river here in Ottawa, around 12:30 today. He is even taking questions; so that's where I'm headed. News, as warranted, to follow, as they say.

Let us know if you see Stephen Harper while you're out. Did he maybe miss his flight back from Italy?

OO - 'citing - ask him to give you a date for release of his policy platform Susan - so that everyone - including Liberals - know where he's going - this Trust Us Trust Us message is wearing a little thin!

Also, lets also have the dates for the release of the Conservative, NDP, BQ, Green Party, and Marxist Lennist policy platforms. None of them have released there's yet either. Nor would they, since we're not in an election.

Which raises the question: will the Conservatives wait until the last week of the campaign to release a policy platform, like they did last time?

Wabbit, you may not like the Tories' policies, but its what they've been doing and carrying forward as the government since they've been elected.

Ignatieff may not want to put out any policies statements as he is leery of having them "stolen", but that is HIS problem, not the Prime Minister's and/or the Tories.

Perhaps if Ignatieff would have put forth some of his brilliant ideas when they might have done some good for the economy, people would not be asking constantly about them. But no, in his quest to make Harper "wear the recession", he made himself look more offside than ever; particularly now that the economy is recovering, no thanks to his utter lack of input.

Squiggy promised June 30th a platform? I will settle for 1-2 policies that are different than Harper.

And we were thinking that 'policy challenged' british/american Ignatieff had actually left.
