Rick Mercer's piece in the Globe is also great, today.
I contend that Rick is more comfortable with 'ordinary' Canadians and our media, (similar to each other with regards to age, income bracket, relationships) is now alienated from their base.
What are 'ivory towers' in the fourth estate?
