Ignatieff goes rural

My colleague, Tanya Talaga, snapped this photo of the Liberal leader at the plowing match this morning in Earlton, Ontario.

This is almost as phony a photo -op as him flipping pancakes at the Calgary Stampede.
I suspect that Ignatieff would have trouble telling a plow from a disc or a combine from a swather.
Farmers (and their problems) have always been "way down" the list of liberal priorites.

I don't know...
Iggy denim jeans look a lot more worked in than Harper's infamous Stetson and leather vest at the Stampede a couple of years ago...
And all in all - I'd take Iggy on a tractor or even behind a horse and than Harper riding a bull...though he's full of it...

Farmers and their problems don't seem to register with today's Conservative party either! Have they come to the aid of floundering pork producers? Seems to me that Conservatives are too busy serving the interests of the Oil Patch and Alberta's money community, than FARMERS or people anywhere else in the country!
Harper is the specialist in phony photo ops, or did you miss the blue sweater vest in the last election?
My farm relatives will be so happy to hear that differentiating between types farm equipment is what distinguishes a good party leader!

Nice job, Susan keep promoting Iggy as much as you can. I was always told that the media was suppose to be balanced, is this the case regarding yourself.......I think we both now that answer

Sorry to be off the topic, but I've been trying without success to ask macleans how to contact vera ronningen re her seaweed business on hornby island, bc. Any advice?
Thank you,

D Dufour

Funny how you post a superman-esque photo of Iggy at a 'plowing match' of all things, then 2 days later criticize the PM for attending the decision of a major Canadian institution re-listing in Canada, describing the latter as nothing more than doughnut eating. Mighty fine balanced journalism there Sue.

How cold was it that Ignatieff needed a sweater...everyone else isn't wearing one.
Maybe Ignatieff thinks wearing a sweater is a PM thing to do.
