Overexposed
I appear to be everywhere today, sort of by accident. Tonight I'm one of the guests on TVO's Agenda show about minority government Parliament (you'll understand if you see the broadcast). And here, at Ian Capstick's lovely MediaStyle blog, there's an interview with me about blogging.
If you're at all curious about how I feel about blogging, comments, etc., take a look at Ian's blog. And watch The Agenda too -- not because I'm on it, but largely for the very interesting stats from Prof. Ned Franks and also the ongoing debate between Globe columnists Jeff Simpson and Rick Salutin.

Your appearance on 'the Agenda' was a treat.
Interesting conversation.
Couldn't help thinking that it would be an interesting chat between Simpson, Salutin and yourself at a coffee shop, unplugged.

"I am very fond of the interactive nature of these new tools, though I know I’m probably too old-fashioned in my refusal to banter back and forth in the comments sections under our stories online. If anyone’s interested, it’s because I learned somewhere there in journalism along the way that readers have the right to the last word."
Not making comments makes it seem like you don't care about your readers or what they think.
The reason you give is a cop-out. Even if you do comment, that won't stop us from having the last word.
