Just visiting

Here's who popped by the Star's Ottawa bureau today for a little visit. It was just a drop-in call while he was on the fourth floor here at the National Press Building; no agenda. He reports that he's been (pleasantly) surprised by the turnout on the Hill this week for Liberal hearings on various issues. IMG00033-20100128-1605 That's my messy office in the background.

My goodness this guy will do anything to get his fesog in the paper. I think he is going a bit overboard - it was better when he was in hiding.

He has a warmer smile than Prime Minister T4PO, and dropping by a free press office (especially one that messy;) without an agenda, sounds more amenable than inviting photo-journalists only to your pad, or just sending out your own glamour shots. I don't see him holding a coffee cup to broadcast his taste in cool music, and no family photo in the lucky right hand corner beside a Canadian flag. Thanks, Susan. http://section15.blogspot.com/2010/01/bunch-of-white-guys-looking-sort-of.html

No adgenda???? His agenda was acheived by Susan writing her blog and having his picture taken by her. Has he run out of grudge fest hearings for the week? Is he going to head home to his riding to hear what his residents want, or is he taking a long weekend to spend this cold snap inside reading War & Peace to his loverly wife? To think a Politician does anything without an agenda is naive of you Susan and you know better than that. If it was Harper doing this you would read a lot into this visit. You have lost all perspective Susan when it comes to this man.
