Insert "desired headline" here

Further to the earlier post today, the Hill Times has helpfully supplied us with a copy of the "Message  Event Proposal" form that is now a staple of a world gone mad in Ottawa. We'd do well to remember that Slapchopguy this is the same government that kept hauling out all those oversize novelty cheques (see blank space for "props", below).  Information, in this universe, is something to be "rolled out"  and "marketed." Just like Slap-Chops -- only difference is that Vince says he can't do this all day.

Is there something wrong with trying to organize your communications strategy ? I can't actually see anything here that would not be considered quite normal in any public company/organization.

Um, Susan, forms or communications plans like these have been routine in government for the last quarter century at least.

Like some other reader who commented on your earlier post, I'm actually astounded that someone with your experience wouldn't have seen one of these before - or at least assumed they existed. What do you think all those hundreds of communications staff are hired to do? Help you? Wait for your phone call?
