Beautiful Baddeck

This is the scene here in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, about an hour before the expected arrival of Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff and the Liberal Express. This summer caucus retreat for the Liberals is off to a very leisurely start (bosses, please disregard adjective).  It's a hot summer day here, MPs are meeting, occasionally chatting to reporters who are hanging around the lawn and lake outside, waiting for news. There are worse ways to make a living. I'll be updating the blog here through the next couple of days as it gets busier here.
