Spelling is for elites anyway

I guess it could be worse -- John Duncan is at least not the "minster" for literacy. (This is the plaque outside his Confederation Building office.)

What's the matter? Weren't you invited to the Conservative bash last night? Is that why you're wandering the corridors of the Confederation Building, looking for spelling mistakes?
I know, you'll probably object to my sarcasm.
But you're leading by example.
Are you suggesting each m-i-n-i-s-t-e-r carves out his/her own plaque, so this is John Duncan's error?
I've heard of ministerial responsibility, but this is ridiculous in the extreme.
P.S. I'm sort of obsessive about proper spelling too, but still ...
