New Liberal ad

You may be wondering what happened to that gravy train that Rob Ford railroaded out of Toronto when he won the mayoralty race. As it turns out, it's shown up in a Liberal ad, newly released to seize on yesterday's startling stories surrounding the Auditor-General and the G8 summit last year. Leaving aside politics, it speaks to a certain ability of the Liberals to be nimble in their ad strategy this campaign. Less than 24 hours after the headlines hit, they've been packaged in an ad:

I wouldn't call it an "ad" unless they pay money to get it on TV (at 46 seconds, that doesn't seem likely). You should just call it a YouTube video.

They had the ad ready before the leak...they new the 'leak' was coming as it was likely a party insider that leaked it...

• As journalist Susan Delacourt has aptly stated:
No one expects politicians to be non-partisan. But running the government of Canada is a great honour and responsibility. All those ceremonies and oaths and seals of office revolve around the idea that we're entrusting our government to act in the interest of all Canadians, not just the friends of the party in power."
That means, there must be honesty, integrity and justice in our parliamentary system, if not you get what you vote for, a government that misleads parliament and the Canadian people.
Whichever party you vote for, vote with integrity and vote for the Government of Canada.

I doubt the video was ready before the leak. It only takes a few people with the right skills and access to stock art to whip up something like this.

On the other hand they may have had it ready because the Auditor's draft report didn't have anything that wasn't already public. It's just that the media don't allow themselves to make judgments about right or wrong even when the facts are available unless some third party declares it so.

It's a good add, including a video of the violence against peaceful protesters. Wasteful, pork barrel spending on Mr. Clement's riding to the tune of $50 million or so. And, lingering, huge overkill by the police and security agencies to fight off a few hundred, entirely predictable anarchists.

The Ad should be aired

It says all that is wrong with the Conservative Party

God knows how much STIMULUS MONEY was wasted in Conservative Ridings

Hey!! Fantino ..you got that too

People who make over $150,000 a year almost all vote liberal or conservative.Does the average person think after the election they are going to represent them .Dream on
