Delayed delivery
Something about the biggest collapse in NBA finals history, a long night of writing and telling stories and a slow morning have conspired to delay the usual mail delivery.
Gimme an hour or 90 minutes or so.
Thanks.

Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
Some years ago someone threw a ring to Piston. Before this season, this guy whined for a trade. Do you think a guy like this deserves a ring? (not even to say MVP!)

According to the above Daniel Gallinari is only planning to work out for the Knicks and the Nets both of which are by no means the perfect match for their draft positions. How far do you think this kid could drop in the draft provided any other GM will assume he's going back to Europe for top dollars?
Blogger's note: I guarantee he'll go in the lottery, and likely in the top 10
