Game 3, dispatch 5
Wow. A celebrity sighting. Ving Rhames, thespian. I know, it's early for celebs, too.
Theo Ratliff lives. And I'm watching him play basketball. Still. He did just block a shot, which isn't bad.
Sort of the starters to finish for the Raps, with Kapono on the court instead of Moon.
We're seeing the TV feed on our little picture-in-picture monitor here courtside. Doesn't look too impressive, does it?
Kapono just missed two shots in a row that were maybe the two best looks he's had all pre-season; and then Parker missed a 10-footer that goes in and out.
More than a dozen front-row seats across the way are empty. Guess the owners had something better to do and no friends to give tickets too. I coulda used a pair.
Andre Miller just fell almost into Ving Rhames's lap. Wonder if he knew who he was.
Let's just say this game isn't being played at a fever pitch. Unless you think 20 combined turnovers, 25 combined fouls and about 36 per cent combined shooting is "fever."
Toronto 41, Sixers 39 at the half.
