The Goods On The Game, Vol. 1, No. 5
You know when you ask me my least-favourite public address announcers in the league? Remind me to put this dude high on the list. And this year they've put one of those gawdforesaken reverb things in. And that's just plain wrong.
-
Lou Williams has hit two uncontested three pointers from the corner and I think Sam's head is about to explode. Williams, you see, is someone you've got to guard out there.
And I'm pretty sure he would have told the players that.
-
Holy crap. The Sixer version of the Dance Pak just got introduced and there's like a million of 'em.
-
Statistical anomaly: In the first quarter, the Raptors had one offensive rebound (by O'Neal) that they turned into three second chance points (on a Parker three); in the same quarter, the Sixers had nine offensive boards and four second-chance points.
-
No, I don't believe there'll be a halftime interview involving Leo and Sammy. In fact, I don't believe they've spoken.
-
They have the volume on those microphones on the rim turned up to about 11. Another bad invention when used poorly. Like here.
-
Roko Ukic has been absolutely solid and bought a lot of time for Jose.
-
Sammy (Dalembert, not Mitchell) has a dozen rebounds already. Seven on the offensive end.
-
Jose and JO come back for the final 2:40, I would assume quite well rested.
-
Bosh steps in and takes a charge from Brand, must be contagious.
-
JO just dunked on Dalembert, quite impressively, and made a gesture to the crowd. We're not sure who it was for, but it might have been his family.
Toronto 51, Philly 45 at the half.

Raptors played well today. Talking about Phillys can't make shots. I think it's because of Raptors new black jersey. Psychologically, it alters players shots.
