The Goods On The Game, Vol. 12, JO starts

I imagine, or hope, there's somebody out there waiting for this, so here it is.

Have just been told that Jermaine O'Neal, who strained his left knee in the fourth quarter of Friday's game against New Jersey, will be in his usual spot in the starting lineup this afternoon against Boston.

O'Neal worked out in the team's practice facility about an hour before tip-off and pronounced himself ready to do. Whether that means a full load of minutes, remains to be seen. If he's got much discomfort, or if the knee swells up, he might cut it back but, as of now, he's a go.

You're welcome.

Talk to you, or at you, during the game.

Hey Doug, yeah I'm out here. Glad to see JO is starting. phew!!

Thanks for the update Doug! You ready for your date at the Harbour Sports Grille after the game?

Hi Doug:

10-0 start! What are the chances Sam gets fired before the end of the game?

AG, Toronto

Blogger's note: It's 36-30. Chances are slim.

great to see o'neal out there giving it. but I wouldn't mind seeing hump out there a little too, running the floor with calderon. I don't imagine perkins can keep up with him.

and maybe even some graham right now?

very slow start though. rando is just slicing and dicing the butter out of the raps.

ugh.
