The Goods On The Game, Vol. 14, Before The Tip

Girls and boys. How's everyone tonight?

As we expected, no Jermaine O'Neal (his ankle's keeping him out, we're told; his knee seems to be fine) so Jamario Moon reprises is role as the starting small forward for Your Toronto Raptors and Andrea Bargnani moves in to play centre against Charlotte rookie Alexis Ajinca.

The rest of the Raptor starters are as you'd come to expect -- Calderon, Parker and Bosh -- and Charlotte goes with an all-tiny backcourt of 6-0 D.J. Augustin and 6-1 Ray Felton. Toss in Gerald Wallace at small forward and power forward Emeka Okafor and that's Larry Brown's team.

Oh, and Charlotte won't have the injured Jason Richardson back yet, his knee is still not fully healed and he'll sit out.

Talk to you later

Thanks for the live blogging. Shouldn't this be vol 14 since it game #14?

Blogger's note: I snuck in a change, hoping no one would notice.

Wallace blows past Moon again, and again, and again, and again. I can't understand why he is allowed to stay there for a full quarter and Joey is pulled after his first mistake. I still think if Joey was allowed to play through a few mistakes to build his confidence, he would become much better than Moon. It would be difficult to be worst. In fact, Adams might be better if he was given a chance.
