The Goods On The Game, Vol. 17, pre-game stuff

Good evening, ladies and germs.

Everyone doing all right tonight? Dozens of you here, I presume?

Wish I had more to report than what's already been reported today but I don't. Jermaine O'Neal is a go for Toronto, Carmelo Anthony is a go for Denver. Anthony told us this morning his elbow was sore enough that he didn't do any shooting at the Nugget shootaroud but I'm pretty sure he'll get some shots up tonight.

One of the key matchups? Jose Calderon vs. Chauncey Billups. They had some good battles back in the East when Billups was a Piston and it should be no different out here tonight. Chauncey's been playing out of his head, lending an aura of calm to the oft-frenetic Nuggets.

Anyway, that's for the pre-game drivel, we'll be back with the wildly-entertaining in-game portion of tonight's festivities in a little bit.

I have a feeling this is going to be a long night for AB if he's on Melo all night. Tough matchup for the 7 footer.
