doug- what percentage of the raptors issues are chemistry based?
there players don't seem to click..
personally, i don't see how re-signing them and staying put will get us anywhere next year.

this season isn't a fluke right? the raptors don't have "it", and they need some big changes to find "it".

agreed?

Blogger's note: Chemistry, as we've been writing since about December, seems 'off.'

wonder if Brian will grab a mike at the last game and apologize to all the fans: does he even know about that Raptor tradition?
One thing is for sure: no one saw this season being quite so bad.

Blogger's note: The GM hasn't spoken at the last game for about five seasons now.

Doug, is there any chance the Raptors will focus on getting Bargnani more planned looks. I underscore planned, as in running him off screens and such. With his current percentages, he deserves to get at least 15 shots a night, maybe more on night like this where Bosh is clearly off.
I'd make sure Bargnani never has a chance to get cold.

Doug Smith's Sports Blog

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
