Shame on Raptors! I switch to Legue PAss For Raptors-Orlanodo and it's the ONLY game blocked! So low :-(

I will admit that I am a proponent of the idea that the raptors give some of their young guys (Roko Ukic anyways) a little more burn to see what they got. Some might call that tanking, I consider that to be talent evaluation as well as valuable game experience for the youngster.

With that said, when the team is battling like it did tonight there is no reason to "tank", that was a thoroughly enjoyable game to watch on tv (sorry I don't live in the GTA) and has to be good for the confidence of the players. I only wish the raptors had this much fight earlier in the year, but that is the past so no reason to dwell on it I guess.

Joey Graham was amazing!! Woohoo!

Great game tonight although I was thoroughly ticked at the officating. It looks like you can't even look at Howard w/o getting a foul but he can literally shove guys out of his way! I watched the game, thank god I don't live in the gta.

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
