Doug
You mentioned that Alvin "should" be on the bench next year. Are you saying you think it is a good idea (Which many people would agree with), or that Someone Who Would Know believes it is likely a deal can be done?
Thanks

Blogger's note: Not only do I think it should be done, others with high titles and big responsibility in the organization think it's a good idea. We just don't know how Bryan feels because he doesn't comment on such personnel matters.

Fun finish indeed! I just finished watching it well after the fact (it's midnight here in BC). Wanted to touch on one thing you said. You (and others, like Devlin) have been blasting Ukic for not passing at the end of quarters. Now, I used to get on TJ Ford for the exact same thing (with probably the same success rate -- or less), so I suppose I should also get on Ukic to be fair. But the difference, as I see it, is that he's a rookie. I'm just impressed that he can always find a way to the rim, even if he doesn't always make the shot. And I figure he'll learn.

But the thing is it seems to be de rigeur around the NBA for the point guard to stand there at the ends of quarters and do it all himself. So should we blame guys like Ford and Ukic? It must be implicitly condoned, if not explicitly drawn up that way. No?
