Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
Well, they finished very close to where I predicted at the beginning of the season. At the start of the season I sent you a post saying that I expected them to will 34-35 games. It took a strong finish to get close to that.
Now it is time to change the bench, especially Jason Kapono. He has really been a bust. It is time to cut Joey loose also. Parker goes to the bench.
Let's hope for a good draft pick.
