why are the NBA referes so bad this year.? it seems the league is set up to have labron /kobe finals, maybe it's fix.?
maybe refs are betting again.?
why are call set to favor the star player.?

Can't believe the Raptors did not hire Avery Johnson as their new head coach! This team and the people running it does not really want to win they'd rather have their year after year excuses of comparing the opposing teams roaster and being able to say well yeah they out match us and take their hard work decent effort and lost in good spirit. Their are so many good wing man in the NBA stop wanting someone that can breakdown the defense with dribble and get one like other organizations that beat us with that type of play do every night. Jose and the rest of you that thought he was a better PG than Ford learned this year it's much easier to do and look good coming off the bench when it's not expected of you day in and day out big mistake letting go a PG that can't create for himself break down the D and handle ball pressure on a team that has no other player able to penetrate except it's top big man. I didn't want to think before that Bosh was leaving but this is his profession I'm sure he wants a championship at some point and if you really think he has a chance of getting it with Triano as head coach you're lying to yourself. Look at the big step Boston made going out to get two top players all it takes is the want to win but you can't expect nothing better from hockey country being that the same people running the leafs who can't seem to make it anywhere are the same group of people behind the Raptors. Bosh truth is if I were you I would leave 2010 and go Miami with Wade or New York with L.B.J. Normally I would not support a player leaving I'm a big Raptors fan but lets stop pretending we are trying to win a championship all we are trying to do is win more games and pretend we putted a team together that had a chance at winning it all. If you don't build to win the championship and other organizations do how can you expect to compete with them? That's why we won coach of the year and a division championship one year and tanked the next we did not build to win it all just to make playoffs? Know why Cav's, Boston, Lakers and Nuggets have a chance to win it all? Not because they have the best players! No, it's because management wanted to win the whole thing not lots of games and because that was their goal they went out and got the best players for their system to win it all but it all started with wanted to win the championship the Raptors are acting like they are just going to build a slightly better team for win more games and by doing that somehow the championship is just going to drop into their laps one season even though winning it was not the goal of the organization and the purpose behind the players it got to sit on its bench. Sorry for the bad spelling, spelling is not my thing but making strong points might be.

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
