Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
is stu jackson watching these games? whos in charge? ronnie nunn? the army guy who was hired after the tim donaghy affair...the refereeing is a mess right now
did you see that call in the lakers-rockets game where farmar did not even foul brooks on a simple dribble move at half court and monty mccutchen just blows his whistle, and there WAS VIRTUALLY NO CONTACT THERE, NO stopping the offensive player from making a move...
Blogger's note: Whoah! A ref blew a call, don't blow a gasket. It happens.
