Bosh begins a bit banged up?

A guy goes to a golf tournament a little bit of news breaks out.

Still awaiting official confirmation but the chatter is that Chris Bosh may be nursing a tweaked hamstring and could sit out the start of Raptors training camp next week.

The word out at the foundation event this morning is that it’s a setback, not huge, but still not a great way to get the season underway.

It’s unclear exactly how Bosh, who I’m told spent a lot of time this summer working on his body and his game, got himself a little banged up. But he is and now they have to deal with it. I do know he’s been in town a few days going through workouts and scrimmages with the other Raptors.

We’ll get more on this later today, I imagine, but just thought you’d like to know.

Be back when I can.

Just saying... Joey got picked up by Denver. Non-guaranteed.

surprised szcerbiak doesn't have a contract yet.....

is it just me or does joey graham role on denver (if any)sounds exactly like dahntay jones' role on the nuggets in his last couple of years...similar players, none of them have 3 pt shooting range, although jones can knock down the corner 3, but joey is probably a better jump shooter inside the 3 pt line...jones is a better defender than graham....

and i think the russian owner of the nets WAS interested in gherardini (before he came to toronto)...although i havent read the yahoo article....

It isn't the best news but it could be best news. The reported injury to CB4 and Hedo's need for rest could be a good thing for the coaching staff. Let's face it, we know what to expect from Hedo and CB4. This will give the depth guys some extra time to show what they've got in practice and subsequent pre-season games and will allow for Jay to determine rotation as it pertains to the second unit. Some of you guys need to take a chill pill, it's only the beginning of training camp. Let them rest... we need them more in the 2nd half of October and they will be there.

Any word on Denver signing Joey Graham to a nongauranteed deal? If so do you think he has a shot at making it into the lineup?

Blogger's note: Lineup? As in rotation? I doubt it. The team? Yeah, he probably does

This is just speculation, but is it fair to say that a mild hamstring injury to a point guard would be more damaging than a similar injury to a power forward?

In a contract year, it's hard to expect anything less than Bosh fighting through and giving 110%.

Did The Denver Nuggets sign Joey Graham to a non-guaranteed deal, according to Yahoo! Sports?

I tweeked my hamstring pulling the french fries out of the deep frier. Told the manager I was in pain, but he just rolled his eyes and said it wasn't his problem.

w..where is my love? Where is the concern? Doug, you need to write my story!! There is a lot of drama in the way it went down, man. I was like, thinking something, and than this guy said something and than bang.

this is exactly how the jose situation started :|

with 1st pick in the 2010 NBA Draft the Toronto Raptors select...

Maybe they are simply keeping him inactive and healthy until they announce a trade is already done? For one, GSW freed up a 2010 1st round pick and have youth, depth, and expiring contracts they can package with it.
Why did Raptors delay a Bosh deal and sign Bargnani to 6 seasons first? With Bosh down to his player's option for next year maybe he plans to opt out?
If there is a deal it has been in the works a month or so now.

Finally and end to the Joey Graham saga... he signed with Denver.

As I am sure you heard, Joey signed with the Nuggets. Could get all those Kleiza minutes. Joey is like a lazy friend who you wish would get off his ass.
