A fella heads to the airport in New Orleans to catch the morning flight to Dallas and finish off some work.
Yeah, right.
Seems I've found the one airport that isn't wired to sell you wireless access for a few hours to get some work done.
At least the lights work and a Blackberry has some power.
Anyway, you're going to have to wait until I'm in Dallas around noon to get all the usual pap and drivel you find here.
Trust me, it'll be worth the wait.
Now, wonder if there's a coffee shop around here?

As an aside, I think that 9 for 9 from the field counts as complete domination of Okafor, eh?

Jose is back. He has stopped looking behind him and many teams will use the film from that 3rd quarter to find out how to defend paul

José definitely played better on d. He'll never be confused with a good defender, but last night he was...adequate. And adequate is good enough. But he needs to do that EVERY night, not just when he's fired up like he was last night. And he was far more engaged on the offensive end, which helps too. One thing I was shocked at was N.O.'s lethargy. They simply didn't want it last night; they really mailed it in, especially Paul. I know that sounds like a crazy thing to say about a guy who got over 20 points and 18 assists, but especially in the first part of the game, he seemed content to walk the ball up and make entry passes, rather than drive and create havoc. That seemed to set the tone. Doug, was the tv lying or did New Orleans simply look like they had zero desire to compete last night?
Blogger's note: They looked terrible; I sense serious issues with that team.

A) "how come on your blog and in comment section you begin with an open quotation but they are never closed with quotation?"
B) Wondering if Paul is gaining a reputation for trash talking or something. First Rondo and he, and now Jose? (who doesn't anger easily). I love to see Jose's spirit, but I am wondering if Paul is pushing the buttons of other players a la Gary Payton trash talking?
Blogger's note: It's just the way this thing's set up with the quote marks; not sure there's anything I can do. Paul's a pretty intense guy, always has been
