Hi Doug,
I think tonight has the makings of being the highest scoring game in Raptors history. Any idea what the score in that game was?

Blogger's note: Clippers 152, Raptors 120 in the game I wrote about in the blog Saturday morning.

Are these scripted or on the fly?

Blogger's note: On the fly, sometimes a couple of takes, though

Wait Doug, the raptors record for points is 120?

Blogger's note: No. The question was about the single-game scoring record for two teams. It's 272. Clippers 152, Raptors 120

Seems like Andrea is cooling off. Your thoughts?

Blogger's note: Don't agree, entirely.

doug, you sound scripted, no offense.

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
