i just cant wait until December when all the games they play look winnable

Doug, do you read a script when doing GruntTV? Or just try to wing it?

I haven't paid much attention to the Nuggets so far, but I read that Smith now goes by "Earl," his actual name, to signify that he's grown up and wants to be a leader off the bench. How has he been this year?

Blogger's note: Winging it all the way. I haven't seen enough of Denver to really have formed an opinion

The quiet ambiance of a coffee shop? Ok, you get a pass for the non-outdoors episode of GruntTV.

Blogger's note: We need some weather co-operation before we get back outside

Doug, sportsnet just reported raptors claimed pops off waivers...
true?

Blogger's note: Believe so, am waiting confirmation from people heading here to the arena on team bus

o crap, denver hasn't lost at home alll year....yes its early in the season doug...

Doug Smith's Sports Blog

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
