Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
Thanks as always Doug.
Lol @ box of chocolates.

I think Rasheed will be taking turns with Garnett guarding Bosh. He always does a good job and of course when he in on the court, you have to guard him out high. Long odds tonight for a Rap win. Love to see it, but until until the defense gets better......it'll probably be a long night.

watching the playoffs last year it was obvious their were fissures on that team...but with Garnett back i felt his presence would resolve them...to me it's obvious as the nose on my face ( an its not a huge honker) but Rondo marches to his own drummer...I was surprised that the Celts never traded him ..instead they re-signed and stuck with him..the guy has talent but from that position you need talent as well as a unselfsih player as key attributes..another case of a GM not believing what a guy is showing you what he is....the Celts downfall will be Rondo...Garnett is not the same player as 5 years ago but with Allen and Pierce that team should be doing better (I kno there record is decent) but if Boston writers and other media are talking about polarization within the locker room it exists, there just not going to point fingers...I'd trade rondo in a heartbeat...
