Just got finished listening to Orlando Magic coach Stan Van Gundy say Vince Carter won't go Sunday afternoon against the Raptors.
Carter's out with a mildly sprained left ankle suffered Friday in New Jersey
We had seen Vince come down from the practice gym about 20 minutes earlier after trying to loosen up the ankle but it didn't work.
"He said if he didn't have to play any defence, he'd be fine," said Van Gundy.
I didn't laugh. At least not out loud.
Oh, and there's no Mickeal Pietrus for the Magic, either.
He came down with a flu bug or something and won't go.
There you have it, doesn't get more up the minute than that, does it?

Do you have access to these players or you just get to yap about them? Can you tell them to start playing? I'm getting fed up...every year is the same crap.
By the way, how did you get this odd job? Since when can you make a living off writing several basketball and golf articles nowadays? I want to do this too....

Actually, "defense" is the American spelling, the correct spelling is "defence".

Raptors need to rely on help side defence, and also cut the court in half when the ball is on the other side of the court. Dare teams to lob a cross court pass and either steal it or close out correctly like the worked on in practice
