Doug, the tie was a bit off. Does your wife tie them, or do you leave them tied on the hanger?

Good to see you all dressed up so early in the day however. I think I expected that you probably have one tie floating around in your car, and you put it on before going into the arena.

Looking Sharp. Now you just need to break out the new glasses.

Blogger's note: Get 'em in about 10 days

Hey Doug! Just curious, how many times do you watch the vid of yourself before posting it?

Blogger's note: Probably not enough

So that parade planning thing... Do we meet at your place for that or just go straight to Yonge Street and wait for you to show up with the gang?

Blogger's note: I believe 13 television networks will broadcast the announcement live, you'll all see it.

Doug: I think you can raise the production values of Grunt TV even higher by putting your laptop at the same height as your face.

As is, one gets the feeling one is constantly looking up your nose.

Enjoy your blog.

cheers
J.R.

Doug Smith's Sports Blog

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
