Raptors will be at full strength

The Raptors will have a full roster available when they face the Atlanta Hawks in about an hour at the Air Canada Centre.

Coach Jay Triano just told us both Jose Calderon and Andrea Bargnani will be back in the starting lineup. Bargnani missed Wednesday’s game in Milwaukee with a sore right ankle; Calderon returns after missing two games with a sore left hip.

How long they play is anyone’s guess.

Triano said they team will limit their minutes – he didn’t say at what level – because they want to lessen the risk of having them re-injured.

Doug Smith's Sports Blog

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
