Hey Doug great game! As you so prophetically put it at the top of the page-- we did indeed see.

bobcats definitely need better point guard play.....ha doug?

Blogger's note: Yeah, I know. Six turnovers against five total assists in that game and a 12-18 record. It's like Nash and Isiah are running that well-oiled offence that's 29th in the NBA.

You: Amir Johnson has to close out better on Jackson than he just did there; gave him way too much space and Jackson hit a jumper.
Me: Really? If it was Bosh, this wouldn't be in the blog

You: The determining factor is whether a guy dribbles or not, he didn't put it on the floor, it was all in one motion
Me: Check the replays my man, its all in one motion but that's because he's like under the basket or very close to the basket... the basket clearly came after the call and its not continuation

Watching PHX-BOS, what a horrible call by Zach Zarba calling a technical foul on Shelden Williams for throwing the ball out of bounds off Barbosa (as he was falling out of bounce), but did not connect and the ball went into the stands... Doc Rivers starts complaining, and I believe that was the first claim Doc River's been right on...

Blogger's note: Man, you can wear a guy out.

Doug Smith's Sports Blog

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
