we have nine very winnable games coming up, how many of them do you see the raps walking away with?

Blogger's note: More than none, fewer than nine

Doug: It is, but if they could get someone quicker, maybe younger and a bit bigger they'd like that. Not sure they can but that's what they're looking for

we talk about role players, day in and day out, players fitting the team and just jelling with the team...players who have very good basketball IQ, and honestly, antoine wright has all the qualities I described above. I don't know one player who can do a better job than him at his salary (for his role).....and did i mention his defence...

And I think if he gets a full mid-level exception contract next summer, he better take it and run (talking about David Lee)

i am not gonna say anything at all on this...except just laugh

Hey DOUG,any thoughts on Kris Humphries 25 point night!

Blogger's note: No, not really. Good for him, I guess

Doug

They fly you around the country and watch thrilling games.

Must be hard to cash the cheque :-))))

Doug Smith's Sports Blog

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
