Wow, all of this great action, AND the playoffs to look forward to?! Time for the all-time Totally Unworthy Playoff Teams list? Any of the last two or three 76ers appearances would likely be in the discussion. And then there's the 16-54 Baltimore Bullets of the 1950s... But are these Raps likely to go in as The Least Interested/Interesting Ever? And how about those Alberta curlers!
Thanks, Doug. Confused in Ottawa.

So, as these Raps play themselves out of contention and Jay plays himself out of a job and CB4 plays himself out of town, shouldn't we at least be having a little fun? Shouldn't we be campaigning hard to make Reggie the pitch-man for Snickers? All he has to do is hold up a little candy bar and say "Get some nuts" and they'll sell a million of 'em, I'm tellin' ya. Cheers. Go Reggie!

Doug Smith's Sports Blog

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
