Wow, Doug, sorry to see there was so much crap on the floor tonight that it poured right up to the media seats and in to the in-game comments. Myself, I can get myself plenty riled up and angry and dismayed and frustrated with mt Raps all on my lonesome... but I come by here every day to find a pro perspective and get things back on an even keel. No mean feat, but you do get it done and thanks for that!

Doug Smith's Sports Blog

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
