jj reddick is very average eh Doug..... i know you hate him and stuff, so i'm just saying.... remember when JVG said jj reddick did an admirable job in the series last year against boston (when orlando lost) and he was guarding ray allen who had a bad series.....watch the game as they say, don't concentrate on the name or the colour of the player....he knows how to play the game

I'll tell you one thing I think about coaching vacancies and the like: One of those teams still looking to hire someone should definitely take a long look at Mike Malone from Mike Brown's staff
---------------------------
This is real funny.... He ain't even getting interviewed by a single (1) team and you think he's that good just because he's Leo Rautins lead assistant coach on the Canadian national team or he's Brendan Malone's son..... or he's your friend (like Brian James)??

Your rule is: "Best players have to play 90% of the 4th in the playoffs"?

I'd say closer to 95
--------------------
Way to nitpick Doug, find out for yourself what the difference in 90% and 95% of the 4th quarter minutes is? (you didn't get the habit from me, did you)

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
