Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
By the way Doug if u didint notice Amir once again scored in doublke figures n 100% from FT giving him a league leading 90% 3 boards block n yes 6 foul of which 3 of them were on D H keeping him from an easy dunk as well as making only 1 out of 6 would say they were very good fouls other two were in preventing jameer from scoring as he blew past his man. yup all this n 12 points in only 16 minutes not a bad day, tonight he should do well against Heat interesting not one word about his slam dunks that gave the team big sparks. He also stuffed DH once n out jump balled him twice nuff said give the kid some love o k and as far as Barg come on a 7 footer who only has 2 reebies saw enough of this from Sheed while a Piston
Blogger's note: Okay, this'll be the last "did you see Amir" thing, okay? Most of us see the game, all of us read the boxscores, we understand your love for all he does. Let's let it go, okay?
Thanks

@ prez, I don't know what you are looking for from the Italian Stallion but while you are griping on the reebies just take a look at the points and the crowd he is drawing from the other team. How many 7 footers are putting in the points AB is? the most encouraging thing I see from him is that he is scoring inside now too. I like Amir and like his game but don't try to compare apples and oranges, 2 different players, both bring something. Live with it.
