Doug, who has more to prove today: Jose, Jarrett, Marco, or Julian?

perhaps i have the benefit of watching on tv but that game was terribly officiated. doug watch the game again and tell me you think the game was well officiated. i have have played basketball at a pretty high level and the trick is when you are not getting the calls to attack the basket which is what they did and still did not get any calls. the calls that are missed are usually towards the end of the game at critical times of the game where each possesion is crucial. agree to disagree but do me a favour and watch amir shot you'll a really ovbious foul that killed the raps chances.

I know it was gut-check time about four minutes into the fourth quarter, but these guys can be given credit for showing a lot of guts game in and game out for a week or two now. Under-manned, under-sized and under-aged, they haven't mailed a thing in yet. Gotta love the play of Amir, Julian and ED, especially, in this game. There's a whole lot of upside there, folks. Now if they could just find a trained hypnotist to convince Bargs that every game is a home game...
Cheers. Go Raps! And enjoy some Nawlins gumbo, Doug.

I had the pleasure of getting off work at a decent time and watching the last two quarters of this game. I have watched pretty much every raps game this season, win or lose, and I would have to agree that that has to be the worst officiating I have seen all season long, and there have been some pretty bad games before but this takes the cake.
I hope this problem is addressed and reviewed because this makes the game look bad. The worst part was the fact that all the bad calls were mostly in the fourth and all in a short time sequence of each other.

I just reread your in-game blog thingy and realized you thought this game was "well-officiated"

On tv they were showing instant replays of all the bad calls late in the game. Maybe it was the angle you had but you should really go watch the last quarter of this game again and watch the bad calls which were occuring very often.

This has got to be the worst officiated game I have ever watched, the refs didn't look like they knew what was going on. Made the game look really silly and bad.

Blogger's note: When I wrote it, I thought it.

Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
