The best laid plans sometimes go awry; I'll be way late today

Okay folks, you’re going to have to hang in there for a bit.

It’s about 5:45 a.m. here, I’m about to board an airplane on a super secret mission, I’m going on about three hours sleep and as much as I’d hoped to have the usual fare done before I flew, it’s not going happen.

But I’ll be up here later this morning, I’m guessing between 11 and noon, with all the goodies you’d normally expect.

Quick recap of last night?

Game quickly devolved into same old, same old Clippers-Raptors, a rather dull affair that someone had to win.

Yes, Blake Griffin had one tremendous dunk and so did DeMar but the best young kid on the floor was probably Ed Davis.

But it was nice to see a sellout crowd that seemed to have fun and puts some energy into the crowd.

Anyway, they’re on Group 1 and I’m in Group 3 so it’s almost time to get on the big bird.

Be back when I can.

I know the Raptors lost another 1, but why is it that most of the 1st round picks they get want out of Toronto. I am still upset at Vince Carter for putting his graduation in African American studies ahead of the game 7 game the same day. He should have graduatied in a degree of African American Defectors. I suggest the Raptors arrange an exhibition game between 1st round defectors and those that wanted to stay and play in Toronto. If I could choose the (wanted to play in Toronto team) they would all be clones of Charles Oakley and Reggie Evans. My team may not be as talented as the Defectors but at least they wouldn't quit on the team and they wouldn't show a lack of heart.

Very classy of you to infer that Afro-American Studies is garbage; otherwise, you wouldn't have bothered mentioning it. The graduation ceremony is important to some people and unimportant to others; obviously it was important to him. Get over it.
