Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
They're mostly not "fans" though, right?

Just want to log a complaint about TSN who left the All Star Game coverage before the MVP ceremony! What the heck??? (I'm assuming it was Kobe.) You know this wouldn't happen in the NHL All Star Game. They'd cover the damn thing until the last hockey player had showered and left the building.

I bet we could have seen it if we had switched to TSN 2...oh wait, nevermind...or perhaps SportsNet O...oh wait, nevermind.
