Hark! I believe I hear the sound of teeth being sharpened...
Cheers, though. And go Raps!

watching the knicks-cavs game, it is evident (glowingly evident) that carmelo is extremely bad defensively....yet, melo seems to disagree with coach karl`s comments about his defence (on twitter).....this is a clear example of a player not getting it......really, melo has so much talent, if only he would divest some of his energy on the defensive end would he be regarded as a great player......

i used to say the same thing about amare stoudemire, but atleast, amare is trying harder in the knicks uniform on the defensive end......really, not a huge fan of carmelo, but it would be great to see some defence from his end....

WOW.....just simply WOW.... i swear watch the 3rd quarter of nuggets-blazers game......haven't seen a team play as hard as the nuggets since the raps beat OKC in toronto......simply wow.......TRUE TEAM PLAY.....

  • Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
