Wow.

Blown out of the gym by Philly, followed by losses to the two worst teams in the NBA. And now Andrea is hurt.

Yep, the Raptors are finally living up to the pre-season expectations.

Butler and Johnson need to ride the pine, they are awful. Barbosa is non-existent. Davis, I;ll let it slide until next season, but he needs some work.

I just hope everyone who is hoping a young European kid is going to "save" this franchise next year sits back and thinks hard about that. He's a kid, he'll be raw too. The draft pick is intriguing, but could be lower than 5th, might be lower than tenth, and there isn't really anyone in NCAA who is absolutely ripping it up so far.

The Raps are in trouble, but it is what was expected. And as fans, we knew this coming into the season. I just did not realize how bad the "talent" BC signed in the offseason would be. (looking at you Butler specifically)(what is he like 9 for 75 or something). Gray has not played, Bayless is hurt, Kleiza was nice to see tonight, but needs a few weeks. Big Cat could be used more against bigger bodies. Why not go grab Oostertag, at 7'2 and 500 pounds, he could provide an inside presence, and really , we aren't winning anyway, so how could it hurt?

Cheers, here is hoping Andrea is OK. He is on pace to All Star this season, probably by Coaches Pick, but still, thats tremendous accolades for a guy that people pegged as a bust last season. Top 10 in scoring, picked up the defense, is rebounding, I like what i see. Derozan, well, he's given up already and its 3 weeks into the season. Look at his body language.

I say they finish 6th to last and somehow slip deeper towards tenth in the draft. And that my fellow fans, is not a good scenario for us going forward.

Blogger's note: Okay, so the draft pick from this coming year is intriguing but the one from last year playing professionally is "raw"; Barbosa is non-existent averaging about 18 points a game in the last three; Big Cat should play but you want them to cut someone to sign zillion-year-old Greg Ostertag who is a stiff in the D League and you say the 21-year-old gym rat who has had a tough week has "given up." Good, so you're gone 'til the fall, right?

No way buddy, here every day !!!

You'll never get rid of me !! I have 15 email addresses !!

And if you think the Lithuanian league is comparable to the NBA, you sir sound just as foolish as my Oostertag comment. Pro League? Compared to what? The Polish League?

And yes, look at "the gym rat". Shoulders hunched, facial expressions, lack of effort, horrible shot mechanics. Did he put in 100's of hours over the break? Sure. Is it translating to a live basketball game? No. Given up 100%, maybe not, but he looks like a sulking child at times, especially with the non calls by the refs.

Biggest concern, who is going to score in Andrea's absence? That's minus 20 a night on a team that is getting beat handily already, and wait for it, they will miss his defence and rebounding !!

Here's to hoping Andrea is fine, Bayless is back, Klieza gets his stroke back, Gray is healthy(in or out of hoops setting), and Butler finds his range. If those things happen, it might be easier to watch this season.
