Doug Smith has been a sportswriter for more than 30 years, a journey that's included seven Olympic Games, numerous and varied championships and more dreary regular season games than he'd care to remember. Here, he'll talk about them all, as well as current events and pop culture. (Just don’t ask him about music nowadays — it's not his cup of tea).
i agree westbrook is great, but do you think a trade for rondo would be an improvement for okc?
Blogger's note: As I said, no. Makes 'em different, not necessarily better.

Now that IGBT is probably done for the season, I have to say that I absolutely love it. I mostly read it after-the-fact - with the exception of occasional half-time catch-ups to see what’s been said about a particular first half moment - and it’s the best way to relive a game that I can imagine. I’d wager there are many who read it in a similar fashion and I hope you do it for a long time to come. It’s unique and satisfying and I always look forward to it. Cheers.
Blogger's note: Thank you, very much
